Ron Dreher

President
Ron Dreher founded Orocom in 1999.  As the founder of Orocom he has represented and sold products into both the flight test and satellite telemetry markets.  His market expertise is in aircraft data acquisition, data recording, transmitters, flight termination, telemetry receivers, bit synchronizers, data distribution, RF multi couplers, switches, data capture, data playback, IRIG time code and chapter 10 recording.

Prior to starting Orocom Ron began his career at Northrop Grumman Flight Test.   His responsibilities included operation of aircraft instrumentation, ground telemetry antenna, instrumentation operation; and system design.  He was the Regional Sales Manager at Aydin Vector (L3-East); responsible for sales in California and Arizona.  He also held the position of Regional Sales Manager at SBS Technologies (GE Fanuc) and was responsible for sales of telemetry and 1553 products as well as embedded systems.

Lana Hassett

Sales Office Administrator
Lana Hassett is the inside Sales Office Administrator for Orocom, and has been with the company since September of 2006.   In her role as sales administrator she is directly responsible for keeping track of all of the quotes, commissions, sales literature, and the general office operation.    Prior to joining Orocom, Lana was a Senior Financial Analyst with Northrop Grumman Pt Mugu for 15 years.

Dave Powell

Consultant
Dave Powell began his instrumentation career in 1966 when he reported to Point Mugu and joined the Student Engineering Development Program.  After 39 years of design experience, Dave retired as a senior technologist in 2005.  His expertise was the development of advanced packaging technology that included hybrid microcircuit design and fabrication, custom ASIC design, surface mount, and other high density techniques that were used for miniature electronic packaging.  He led the development of several warhead compatible telemeters including those for AMRAAM and Standard Missile and was recognized as a PMTC Fellow in 1988.  As chief engineer for an advanced CTEIP project he directed the development of a high dynamic GPS based TSPI source for missile.

Thomas Wilson

Sales Engineer
Tom began his career in 1981 with Raytheon Service Company in Pascagoula, MS where he was involved with the installation and certification testing of sonar systems aboard Aegis Class Cruisers.  Tom has over 25 years supporting Navy test and evaluation programs in the area of logistics, systems engineering and test and evaluation.  He has worked at Naval Air Weapon Center, Point Mugu, CA, Naval Surface Weapon Systems Programs, and Naval Facilities Expeditionary Logistics Center, Point Hueneme, CA.

Prior to joining Orocom, Tom was employed with Computer Sciences Corporation for seven years supporting the Naval Construction Battalion Corps (Seabees) by providing technical, engineering, and logistics support.
